Meet the Team

Sue Vassallo - ISTD (DDI), APPI (Mat Work)
Sue is a dedicated and passionate instructor with over 20 years of teaching experience as a qualified dance teacher. Her journey into Pilates began after facing aa series of dance-related injuries. Encouraged by physiotherapists to explore Pilates as a way to heal and prevent future injuries, Sue discovered its transformative benefits and developed a deep connection to the practice.
Known for her ability to break down complex movements into clear, accessible steps, Sue brings her expertise and approachable teaching style to every session. Her love for teaching and creating meaningful connections inspired her to open Cloudberry Active – a space she felt the island needed.
Cloudberry Active is a welcoming sanctuary for people of all age groups and body types. Sue’s vision is committed to create a calm a and inclusive environment where individuals can come together, support one another, and work toward their personal wellness goals as part of a caring community.
Through her thoughtful guidance and genuine care, Sue is committed in helping everyone feel empowered, capable and part of a community that encourages individuals to be the best version of themselves.

Kyra Poland - APPI (Mat Work), CYQ
Kyra is a certified APPI mat work Pilates teacher, CYQ certified gym instructor and personal trainer, with over 10 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. With a strong background in personal training, her approach combines movement, strength and mindfulness to create a holistic fitness experience that nurtures the body and mind. Kyra aims to empower you to live a healthier, more balanced life through mindful movement and sustainable fitness practices.

Sandra - Yoga
With a career spanning several years in the field of dance, Sandra’s journey into the world of yoga, began as a sporadic exploration. Over several years she tried different yoga techniques with different teachers, but it was when she stumbled upon Yin Yoga that her path truly deepened. Sandra is certified as a yoga instructor and a member of Yoga Alliance. Sandra’s teaching style reflects her experience in dance and movement and her passion for yoga. She believes that these practices hold the key to find balance in our fast-paced lives.

Becky
With a background in dance, Becky is passionate about making dance accessible, she aims to break the stigma that dance is only for those who are trained. Having previously run her own dance school and then taking a break, she has now developed flexible fitness routines that blend dance with movement exercises. Becky is excited to share these routines with busy individuals seeking a fun and effective way to stay active and enjoy dance.

Pilates Beginner/Inter

Pilates - Open Level
A class for everyone, whether you’re new to Pilates or have been practicing for years. This session focuses on building strength, flexibility, and control through mindful movement, with variations to suit all levels. R&B Pilates – Inter Level
A fun, open-level Pilates class with a twist! If slow, meditative music isn’t your vibe, join us for a dynamic session set to the best 90s and 2000s R&B hits. Move, strengthen, and flow while vibing to the songs you grew up with. Perfect for millennials looking to break a sweat, build strength, and enjoy a little nostalgia along the way!
Power Pilates
A full-body workout that blends strength training with Pilates principles. This class focuses on building control, core strength, balance, and muscular endurance using a mix of body weight and hand weights for added resistance. Expect a challenging yet energizing session that leaves you feeling stronger, more powerful and in control.
Pilates Booster
A 30-minute express Pilates session designed to refresh, energize, and reset your body for the rest of the day. This mat-based workout hits all the essential Pilates moves, helping you build strength, improve posture, and boost your focus—all in just half an hour! Perfect for a morning pick-me-up.
Cardio Pilates
A fast-paced, low-impact workout designed to get your heart rate up while staying true to Pilates principles. This session blends controlled, precise movements with dynamic exercises to create a calorie-burning cardio effect—boosting endurance, strength, and mobility without the high impact. Get ready to sweat, move, and feel energized!
Yoga
Sandra’s class will be a Hatha Flow yoga class starting with a body, mind-centring exercise, a warm-up flow which will build up to a strengthening and stretching flow. Particular focus will be given to alignment as the body flows and, at times, holds the poses. Sandra’s classes aim to guide practitioners to discover inner harmony through the fusion of Hatha Flow Yoga and mindful breathing techniques.
Dance Fit
A fun, feel-good dance class for all generations! This class is all about easy-to-follow routines, great music, and plenty of laughs. No dance experience needed – just bring your energy and enjoy a light, low-impact workout that lifts the mood and gets the body moving!
Pilates Inter/Advanced
